House Speaker Kevin McCarthy to Provide Update on Debt Ceiling Meeting
Exciting news! House Speaker Kevin McCarthy is set to provide a readout following the meeting he had at the White House about the debt ceiling on Tuesday.
McCarthy, along with President Joe Biden and other congressional leaders, met this afternoon to discuss raising the debt limit, with each side making its own demands on how to do so.
