Senator John Fetterman of Pennsylvania made a memorable entrance on Saturday when he greeted President Joe Biden wearing basketball shorts and a hoodie. Fetterman, known for his unique style, did not deviate from his usual attire as Biden visited Pennsylvania for a political rally at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. While other Democratic officials, including Governor Josh Shapiro, Senator Bob Casey, and Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney, opted for suits, Fetterman stood out in his casual ensemble.

Fetterman, who recently made a robust recovery from depression, has remained committed to his hoodie-shorts combo. He even votes from the doorway of the Democratic cloakroom or the side entrance to avoid conforming to the Senate dress code.
During Biden’s visit, the President stopped by the site of a collapsed section of Interstate 95, caused by a truck explosion. Governor Shapiro assured that the bridge would be repaired within a few weeks.

After Biden’s visit to the I-95 bridge, Fetterman, who had previously suffered a stroke, faced difficulty speaking at an event. He expressed his appreciation for Biden’s commitment to infrastructure and the upcoming infrastructure bill.
