WATCH: D.C. Residents Shred Fauci, The Door-To-Door COVID Vax Salesman, In 2021

In a new PBS documentary called “American Masters: Dr. Tony Fauci,” the face of the pandemic Dr. Fauci faced criticisms from residents of Southeast D.C. after he and Democratic Mayor Muriel Bowser attempted to persuade them into getting vaccinated against COVID-19 in the summer of 2021. In the clips from the documentary, a man and woman questioned the safety of the vaccine and expressed their skepticism of the information they had been given, such as concerns about the vaccine’s rushed creation and the overcounting of COVID deaths. Fauci and Bowser attempted to convince them otherwise, but the residents remained unconvinced.

Despite Fauci’s claims that the COVID-19 vaccine works well most of the time and that breakthrough cases are rare, data shows that breakthrough infections occur, and the effectiveness of the vaccine reportedly declines over time. Furthermore, studies demonstrate that individuals who contract COVID-19 and survive, achieve natural immunity that is as protective as the COVID-19 vaccine. Therefore, ordinary people may have been right, and experts such as Fauci may have been wrong on COVID-19.
