WATCH: Comer says Fauci needs to ‘be held accountable,’ day to ‘explain’ is coming

HChairperson of the Oversight Committee James Comer (R.KY.) said it is time to hold the former chief White House medical advisor Anthony Fauci Former National Institutes of Health Francis Collins is responsible.

Comer was the chief witness at Wednesday’s hearing for the House Select Subcommittee regarding the Coronavirus Pandemic. The hearing featured the following: Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) blasted Fauci for dismissing notions It is believed that coronavirus developed in a Chinese lab of virology.

While you are appearing on the Ingraham AngleWednesday’s hearing was called off by Comer “was the first step toward the truth and then holding people accountable.”

“At the end of the day, I think what we are going to learn is people in the government knew about what was going on,” Comer, he said. “They knew from day one. They worked together to cover this up. This is wrong.”

“We saw emails early on that show Dr. Fauci and Dr. Collins in February of 2020 were actively working to try to spin the narrative that anyone who said the lab leak theory was possible was either a conspiracy theorist or worse, a racist,” The congressman continued. “They need to be held accountable. That’s why we’re going to continue to bring people in, build the case, and then Dr. Fauci and Dr. Collins will have an opportunity to explain themselves and their actions to the American people under oath.”
