WATCH: Byron Donalds says signs point to Biden cover-up to preserve China relations

“I feel there are major conflicts of interest,” Donalds said. “How is this president holding China accountable when his family has had dealings with the CCP in the past when he was in the Senate, when he was vice president, and what’s happening now that he’s president of the United States?”

Donalds, a member on the House Budget Committee said that he and other Republicans were looking at defense spending as a result of Biden’s comments. “weak” leadership.

“The one thing we have to understand is that this president’s leadership has been weak on the national stage, on the world stage, so China is flexing its muscles,” Donalds said. “We already know what’s happening with Russia, we’ve obviously got to keep an eye on Iran, and the No. 1 way you do that is making sure our fighting forces, our men and women, they’re lean, they’re mean, they have every tool in their arsenal and at their capability to be able to hold back these adversaries across the globe.”

Donalds recommended that Department of Defense Spending cuts are necessary.
