VP Harris Debuts New Word Salad in Latest Attempt to Speak Complete Sentence

Vice President Kamala Harris tossed up another word salad following a meeting with the prime minister of Jamaica Wednesday, drawing a new round of ridicule from her critics.

The White House sit-down with the island nation’s leader, Andrew Holness, commemorated the 60th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the countries and marked the first time in nearly 30 years that a Jamaican leader has visited the White House. Harris, whose father is Jamaican, said she and Holness discussed COVID-19, climate change, and the war in Ukraine.

KAMALA HARRIS STUCK IN THE ‘PASSAGE OF TIME’

“For Jamaica, one of the issues that has been presented as an issue that is economic in the way its impact has been the pandemic … we will assist Jamaica in COVID recovery by assisting in terms of the recovery efforts in Jamaica that have been essential,” she told reporters after the meeting.

The Republican National Committee tweeted a clip of Harris’s comments, which Twitter users promptly deemed gibberish.

“Oh Boy,” tweeted Grace Vazquez. “Her term papers in college must have been a blast to read. “While the effort to assist is essential, our effort in assisting will be of the most essential!”

“Damn! Poor Jamaica!” tweeted a user under the handle Nithyanand. “After this speech, administration released a caveat that assistance will only be provided if they understood and can explain back what the Vice President said!”

“She has convinced herself that everything she says is deeply profound,” wrote MrHoneyStinger under a YouTube posting of the clip by the GOP War Room.

Harris, whose communications team has seen near-constant turnover and who has been plagued by White House whispers that she doesn’t prepare for assignments, prompted head scratching earlier this month with a bizarre ramble in Louisiana.

“We were all doing a tour of the library here and talking about the significance of the passage of time, right,” Harris said while promoting internet access in rural areas. “The significance of the passage of time, so when you think about it, there is great significance to passage of time. There is such great significance to the passage of time when you think of a day in the life of our children.”
