The heckler, identified as Kayla Crist, shouted phrases such as “Our SCOTUS won’t protect our women” and “Republicans are raping women.” Despite attempts to remove her from the room, Ramaswamy invited her back, stating, “I want to give her a chance to speak. Do you want to come back here? You can say something to me — it’s okay. … You can ask me a question, and I will answer.”

Crist approached the stage and began expressing her views, emphasizing her right to choose whether or not to have a child conceived through non-consensual means. She also shared her experience as a single mother, highlighting the lack of support from the system.

Ramaswamy’s campaign has gained traction, with a recent Republican primary poll from Echelon showing him reaching 10% support, a significant milestone. However, he still trails behind former President Donald Trump and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis in all polls conducted thus far.
