VIDEO: After Roe Reversal, Dems Parrot Same False Talking Point

Since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade last week, Democrats and their media allies have homed in on a single talking point: The Court’s Trump-appointed justices lied about their views on the landmark abortion case to secure confirmation to the bench.

“Squad” congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D., N.Y.), for example, went so far as to call for the impeachment of Justices Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, and Amy Coney Barrett, claiming the nominees told the Senate that they would not vote to overturn the ruling.

Unfortunately for these liberal critics, however, the justices made clear they would only take a side on a ruling after reviewing the facts of a given case.

“I have an agenda to stick to the rule of law and decide cases as they come,” Barrett said during her Senate confirmation hearing in 2020. “You can’t give a thumbs up or thumbs down [beforehand] and maintain the independence of the judiciary,” Kavanaugh said during his 2018 hearing.
