A combat veteran and steel manufacturer has called on Joe Biden to bring back the “Made in America” showcase last held under 45th President Trump. In a recent interview, Redline Steel CEO Colin Wayne said the showcase was the best way to promote businesses that manufactured products with American workers and goods.
Last held in 2019, the showcase allowed businesses from all 50 states to display their products for the president.
Biden ran his campaign on claims of being for American workers and keeping jobs from being shipped out of the country. However, the Democrat has not commented on whether he would be making any effort to bring back the showcase for American businesses.
“If he wants to build back better, it starts with recognizing and honoring domestic companies that are building sustainability for the future,” said Wayne. “To take that away is not a good message sent to business owners.”
