Vance to visit Fort Campbell before Thanksgiving

Vice President JD Vance is scheduled to visit Fort Campbell, located on the Kentucky-Tennessee border near Nashville, ahead of Thanksgiving. During his visit, Vance, along with his family and Secretary of the Army Dan Driscoll and his family, will join the approximately 30,000 active-duty military personnel stationed at the fort. Fort Campbell is home to several Army units,including the 101st Airborne Division and the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment. Vance will participate in a Thanksgiving meal at the Warrior Resturant on the base and deliver remarks to the servicemembers. Meanwhile, President Donald Trump is expected to spend Thanksgiving at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida.


Vance to visit Fort Campbell before Thanksgiving

(The Center Square) – Vice President JD Vance will visit Fort Campbell in Kentucky ahead of Thanksgiving to celebrate with Army service members.

Vance, 41, and his family will visit the fort’s 30,000 active duty military on the border of Kentucky and Tennessee near Nashville on Wednesday afternoon. 

Fort Campbell is home to the 101st Airborne Division, 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment, 5th Special Forces Group, and other Army units.

In addition to his family, the vice president will be joined by Secretary of the Army Dan Driscoll and his family.
