Fauci Diary Proves Jake Tapper Was Never A Real Journalist
The article reveals that Dr. Anthony fauci, a key figure during the COVID-19 pandemic, may have been involved in efforts to discredit Trump management officials by feeding questions to CNN anchor Jake Tapper, with whom Fauci developed a close relationship. Fauci’s diary indicates that he coordinated with Tapper and was involved in influencing media coverage, blurring the lines between journalism and advocacy. Their friendship included dinners and private exchanges,suggesting potential bias and lack of objectivity in Tapper’s reporting. Fauci also criticized other CDC officials and noted restrictions on media appearances, highlighting possible conflicts of interest. The piece alleges that Tapper’s reporting often reflected personal biases, and that his coverage of events like Black Lives Matter protests and COVID-19 guidelines was partisan, undermining journalistic integrity. Ultimately, the article criticizes the influence of this relationship, implying it compromised objective reporting and had tangible consequences on public perception and policy during the pandemic.
Dr. Anthony Fauci, architect of the coronavirus lockdowns, was behind attempts to discredit Trump administration officials during the pandemic, feeding questions to CNN propagandist Jake Tapper, according to Fauci’s newly released diary.
In a July 26, 2020, entry, Fauci wrote of then-Assistant Secretary for Health Brett Giroir that Giroir was “on Tapper (State of the Union) talking bullsh-t about testing with Jake pressing him. I gave Jake some questions to ask him.”
Tapper and Fauci apparently became close friends, having dinners together at each others’ homes, something Fauci referred to as “friendship building.” While Fauci was able yuck it up with the D.C. elite, he pushed policies that would not allow family to be with their dying loved ones during their last moments alive.
The two would text each other, and on July 26, 2020, Fauci said “Jake Tapper woke me up at 11:23 AM (I went to bed early) furius[sic] at POTUS for tweeting about the fact that Jake severely questioned Brett Giroir on SOTU CNN show day. Jake was really pissed at the craziness of it all.”
The relationship between the two show that Tapper could never have been an objective reporter on the coronavirus or the government response. Rather, Fauci’s accounting of the relationship suggest that Tapper was otherwise motivated, choosing to protect his burgeoning friendship with Fauci and doing Fauci’s backchannel bidding while developing an even deeper hatred for Trump than he had prior to 2020.
As Unherd’s Emily Jashinsky observed, “it’s a basic journalism rule that if you cover your friends, you recuse yourself or disclose the friendship to the audience so they can assess your coverage with that context.”
Tapper takes every opportunity to shirk basic journalism rules, such as advancing known lies like the Russia Collusion Hoax, having on-air meltdowns when politics do not go his way, hocking his own book about former President Joe Biden’s mental decline after having covered it up for his entire presidency, and more.
In the fall of 2020, Fauci had another dinner with Tapper and his wife, where Fauci noted, “Jake clearly believes Trump is totally nuts.”
In between the dinners, Tapper would snicker to Fauci about his dislike of Trump administration officials.
After Deborah Birx, former White House Coronavirus Response Coordinator, appeared on Tapper’s show, “Jake wrote me a text afterwards and said: ‘Birx has lost her way I fear. She has chosen to focus on defending the president and attacking the press. Odd,’” Fauci wrote.
After a while, Fauci noted, “Stay heads up to a marked decrease in WH Comms allowing me to go on national media compared to 2 weeks ago.”
The relationship between Fauci and Tapper is not just a gross display of corruption — it had real consequences.
As someone who describes himself as an objective reporter and news anchor for a major media outlet, Tapper was in reality a mouthpiece providing cover to his preferred groups, while holding a different standard for others.
Like so many other left-wing corporate media hacks, Tapper allowed Black Lives Matter riots to go virtually unquestioned during lockdowns, admonishing large gatherings of people for being “superspreaders” unless they were the rioters themselves.
When a video of young people at a beach — a setting and demographic that was unlikely to spread the virus — was going around the internet, Tapper had another on-air meltdown.
“People out there who are millennials or younger and thinking, ‘Well, if you’re 80 years old, you know, it only affects people who are in their 70s and 80s,’ which isn’t true, although, obviously, the people in their 60s, 70s and 80s are most vulnerable to it,” he said. “What are you saying, that my 80-year-old dad, therefore, is fair game?”
“The selfishness of people who are not taking this seriously is — it’s just maddening,” he added. “I get that people don’t understand it, but what bothers me is people who think, ‘I’m young, I’m not going to die from it.’ First of all, not necessarily true. Second of all, you could get really, really sick and you could be injured for the rest of your life with scarred lungs, and third of all, who the hell are you to be walking around just giving this to old people and you just flippantly dismiss it?”
Somehow, the virus would not spread during a riot, but would on a beach.
