US Sees Negative Net Migration for First Time in Nearly 100 Years Amid Trump’s Border Crackdown

CIS further noted that it estimates the illegal immigrant population in the United States overall declined by 2.3 million people, from 15.8 million in January 2025 to 13.5 million in July 2026.
