American tax dollars funding more than just weapons in Ukraine uncovered.

Uncovered: ⁣American Tax Dollars Funding Way ⁤More‌ Than Just Weapons in Ukraine

A recent report by CBS News program⁣ “60 Minutes” ‌delved deep into the money President Joe Biden and⁢ Congress are sending to Ukraine and made a startling discovery. It turns⁤ out⁢ that we are ⁣funding far more than just bullets and ‍bombs.

Billions in U.S. tax dollars are pouring into ⁣ the Ukrainian war effort, but hidden within the details of what Congress agreed ⁣to is a wide‌ variety of spending‍ on things that could have been invested in Americans instead.

“60 Minutes” uncovered ‍that our tax dollars are not only ‌funding weapons, but also salaries for Ukrainian ‌civil servants,⁢ seeds and fertilizers for Ukrainian farmers, subsidies for Ukrainian ⁤small businesses, funding ‌for police and⁢ firemen, and even training for rescue dogs.

The American TV crew spoke to Tatiana Abramova, the owner ‌of a knitwear company,‍ a small business in Ukraine.

“Especially in the condition of war, we have to work. We have to pay⁤ taxes, we have to ‍pay wages to our employees.‍ We have to work, ‌don’t stop,” Abramova explained to CBS reporter Holly Williams.

“Why does that help Ukraine win the war?” Williams ‌asked.

“Because the ⁢economy is the foundation of everything,” Abramova replied.

“We realize that it’s ‌aid from the government, but it’s aid from the heart of every ordinary American person,”⁤ Abramova said gratefully. She added that she feels “grateful” and “great” for the aid.

“In total, America’s investment in Ukraine’s economy since the invasion began has reached nearly $25 billion,” Williams added during her ⁤“60 Minutes” report.

After the report revealed the extent to ‍which ⁢Biden is subsidizing⁤ Ukraine’s economy while ours is struggling, many on‍ social media expressed‍ their ⁣anger that our money, which is supposed to be funding war efforts, is being used for so many other things in Ukraine.

Arizona ⁤firebrand Kari Lake, for⁤ one, ⁤took to⁤ her X account⁢ to say, “Not. One. More. Penny. To. Ukraine. Time to put America First.”

Many others ‍agreed. Movie producer Todd Headlee asked, “Did the American people sign on ‌to this? I’m pretty sure they did not.”

Others also chimed in on Biden’s inequities:

As the U.S. economy continues to fail,⁣ as thousands ‌of Americans die monthly from Biden’s fentanyl crisis, as our border is swamped daily with tens of thousands of criminal illegals, all while our president goes ⁢on repeated back-to-back vacations, Americans are growing increasingly frustrated with funding Ukraine while we suffer.

Joe Biden is leaving America in a far worse place than when he took ⁤over. And the ‍billions going to Ukraine is just one more blow to the U.S.A.

Should the United States prioritize its own domestic issues over‌ foreign aid?

_blank” rel=”noopener”>failed drug policies, and as our own infrastructure crumbles, it is clear that the priorities of our government‍ are far from aligned with the needs of the American people. The fact that our tax dollars‌ are being used to fund a ⁣wide range of endeavors in Ukraine, while our own citizens suffer, is a slap ⁣in the face to⁤ hardworking Americans who are struggling to make ends meet.

It is understandable that the United⁢ States provides aid ⁤to foreign ‍countries in times of need and crisis.‌ However, it ‍is essential that our ‌government prioritizes the well-being and prosperity of its own citizens above all else. Investing billions‌ of dollars in a foreign economy,‌ particularly one involved in‌ a conflict, while neglecting ‌our own domestic⁢ issues is not only misguided but also irresponsible.

As the money flows into Ukraine, it⁣ is unclear how⁤ much tangible benefit it brings to the American ‌people. While some argue that investing in Ukraine’s economy helps to stabilize the region
