Two-thirds of U.S. Voters Believe Biden Should Make ‌Way for Younger Democrats in 2024

A recent ⁤poll conducted by The DailyMail.com/Tipp has revealed⁢ that a staggering 67% of registered voters in the United States think that⁤ President Joe Biden, at the age of 80, might be a bit too mature ‌to run for re-election⁢ in 2024. Americans are ​of the opinion that it’s time for him to step aside and allow younger Democrats to compete for the nomination.

Interestingly, it’s not just Republicans who share this sentiment. Surprisingly, only 33% of Democrats believe that Biden should gear up for the 2024 race. A whopping 56% think he should take a‌ break and⁣ another 10% are unsure about his prospects.

While Biden may already‍ have two Democratic rivals, Marianne Williamson ⁢and Robert ‍F. Kennedy Jr., ⁣vying for his party’s nomination, it’s unlikely that they will be ⁢able to surpass him.‌ However, there are several esteemed and energetic younger Democrats waiting in the⁣ wings who could give Biden a run for his money against potential Republican nominees like former President Donald ‌Trump​ or Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.

Names‍ like California Governor Gavin Newsom, Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer, ‌Vice President Kamala Harris,⁤ and Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg are already gaining attention as the future faces of the⁣ Democratic Party.

It’s worth‍ noting that Biden himself has acknowledged the concerns about his ​age. However, he has been trying his best to dismiss worries ⁢about his energy levels and sharpness for the job. ‌At 80 years old, Biden is already the oldest president‌ in the nation’s‌ history, and he shows no signs of backing down from extending that record.

On the other side of the aisle, former President Trump, 77, has taken every opportunity to claim that Biden suffers from dementia.

Now, here’s where things‌ get really interesting. The survey has revealed some bad news for Biden’s reelection hopes. A whopping 75% of respondents are ⁢eager to see‌ him ‍participate in a TV debate with the two Democrats who have already entered the race, Williamson and Kennedy.

Furthermore, ⁢77% of⁤ voters⁣ from both sides of the aisle want to witness‌ this epic showdown. However, the chances of it actually happening are slim, ⁤as the Democratic⁣ National Committee (DNC) has made it clear that they have no plans for a primary debate.

Despite the⁢ mixed opinions, Biden ‍remains the indisputable‌ front-runner among Democratic voters, with the support ​of approximately ‍60% of loyal fans.
