Two-Thirds of Americans Say Biden Shouldn’t Run Again
According to a new survey, President Joe Biden would be defeated if the 2024 presidential election was held today.

2,050 registered voters were surveyed. 65% said Biden shouldn’t run again. The survey found that 46% would support Trump while 41% voted for Biden. 13% were uncertain. This is the same 5-point margin Trump held in December poll results.
If the GOP candidate are Gov. DeSantis is leading the GOP candidate by 42% to 39% in the poll. The news about Joe Biden’s handling classified documents seems to have little impact on those who surveyed the results over the past two months.
Trump remains the clear favourite for the Republican nomination. DeSantis is leading Trump by 48% and 28% respectively. The poll director, however, isn’t sure the lead will last.
“Trump is ahead but already has every vote he can get,” Mark Penn told The Hill. “DeSantis is the candidate of potential.”
Other potential Republican candidates all registered in single digits, with Mike Pence at 7%, Nikki Haley at 3%, and Mike Pompeo at 1%.
