FBI Identifies Jan. 6th Rioter

Ex-Boyfriend Reports Jennifer Inzuza Vargas to FBI

One anonymous user, in a now-deleted tweet, confirmed that he had dated the girl in the photo. The boyfriend reported what he knew to the FBI, who would later allegedly give him the update that his ex, now known as Jennifer Inzuza Vargas, was under investigation. Authorities confirmed the identity of the boyfriend and Vargas’s identity with a law enforcement source.

Pink Beret’s Involvement in Capitol Riots

Vargas was previously alleged to possibly be “a government agent or cooperator” by one Jan. 6 defendant named Darrell Neely. Kira West, Neely’s attorney, mentioned Vargas in a February filing as “Pink Beret.” Neely and Vargas were seen entering the Capitol hand-in-hand despite being strangers. West argued that Vargas appeared to know several people in the Capitol and could have coerced Neely into the building.

However, several photos showed Vargas participated in the riots for hours, most notably in the “media smash event” where she is seen seemingly stealing equipment from the AP. Her anonymous ex-boyfriend also confirmed that she had radical views about the 2020 election long before the riots.

FBI’s Ongoing Investigation
