Tuberville’s block on military promotions hampers Biden’s woke nominees.

Sen. Tommy Tuberville: The Defender of America’s Military

Sen. Tommy Tuberville has become enemy No. 1 for Biden’s military. Pentagon chiefs and their allies in Congress and the media​ have ‌become⁣ obsessed with ⁢attacking him. Why? Simply because he’s standing in the way of‍ their effort to forcibly convert the military to their leftist ideology.

When Biden decided to pay for service members to get abortions, Tuberville moved to ‌block the administration’s senior military promotions. And he hasn’t given an⁤ inch. ‌Coach is ​standing firm.

Using taxpayer dollars appropriated for the defense of our nation for ​abortions is one of the most outrageous and radical actions taken by this administration. Tuberville is standing up for the unborn and millions of Americans who never consented to their money being used for killing babies.

But ⁣this fight goes beyond abortion. The officers Biden has nominated make up one of the wokest slates of nominees in ⁣history, committed to judging soldiers, sailors, airmen, and marines by their race and sex, instead⁢ of by their merit. These are people who believe that America’s institutions, including the military itself, are hopelessly racist and sexist. Here are just some of ​the nominees Tuberville‌ is blocking:

• Lt. Gen. Kevin B. Schneider (Air Force), nominated for promotion to ⁤general and assignment as next commander of Pacific Air Force, has stated that his objective ​is for ‍”diversity, equity, and inclusion” (DEI) philosophy⁣ to become part of the Air ⁤Force’s “DNA” in order to identify ⁢alleged racism in the military.
• Rear Adm. Shoshana Chatfield ‌ (Navy), nominated for promotion to vice ⁤admiral and assignment as‌ U.S. military representative to the NATO Military Committee, complained that since 80 percent of Congress is men, most of ⁢the issues that ⁣become ‍laws are only important to men.

• Brig. Gen. Elizabeth ⁢E. Arledge (Air Force), ​nominated for promotion to major general, tweeted‍ about woke “intersectionality” theories, condemned “whiteness,” and celebrated leftist Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

• Col. Benjamin R. Jonsson (Air Force), nominated for promotion to⁤ brigadier general, ⁣authored an article called: “Dear white colonel …⁤ we must address our blind spots around race.” In it,‍ Jonsson claims, “Defensiveness is ⁢a predictable response by white people to any discussion of racial injustice.” He says white colonels are “largely blind to ⁣institutional racism” and recommends the book White Fragility by prominent⁢ critical race theory peddler Robin DiAngelo.

These are just a few examples of the kinds of people Biden wants ‍to run our military, but this is no coincidence. The ⁤nominations⁤ of these individuals are part⁣ of an unprecedented effort by Biden to turn the American military into a leftist military.

Politicizing the armed forces is incredibly dangerous for America and our system of government. But that is exactly what Biden is‍ doing.‍ He has used vaccine mandates and ideological screening for “extremism” to ⁤purge the military of anyone who​ disagrees with the left’s agenda, while only appointing officers who are loyal to Biden’s politics.

Thankfully, Tuberville is maintaining a block on these nominees, even though it is a very ⁣difficult thing to do. Under⁣ pressure from the military-industrial complex, the media, and ⁢even members of his own party, Tuberville has shown incredible courage‍ in his fight to​ save the U.S.‍ military.
