Former President Trump’s Legal Team Opposes Protective Order in Election Interference Case
Attorney John Lauro, representing former President Donald Trump in the 2020 election interference case, has expressed opposition to a requested protective order by special counsel Jack Smith. This order aims to restrict the information that Mr. Trump and his allies can share regarding the case.
During an interview on CNN’s “State of the Union” on Sunday, Attorney Lauro made it clear that the legal team is against the implementation of this protective order.
