Trump unveils sweeping plan to ‘shatter the deep state’

Former President Donald Trump has proposed a 10-point plan to break up the “Deep State” and fight the “weaponization” of the justice system. His proposals aim to streamline the federal bureaucracy, combat corruption, and prevent leaks. Among his most significant ideas is the establishment of a “Truth and Reconciliation Commission” that would make public the alleged inner workings of the “Deep State.” The former President hopes to revive a 2020 Executive Order that gives the President the power to fire federal bureaucrats who behave improperly. Furthermore, Trump wants to eliminate “corrupt actors” from federal departments and agencies, reform the FISA court, and cut down government leakers who create false narratives with criminal charges.

On his platform dubbed Agenda47, he promised an all-out attack on government bureaucracy he called the “Deep State,” alleging that the intelligence community and bureaucrats targeted him with leaks to press, damaging his presidency. The Republican party established a subcommittee after taking control of the House of Representatives to look into the “weaponization of the federal government.” However, top law enforcement officials, such as Attorney General Merrick Garland, have denied the bias and unfairness allegations.

Trump’s unveiling of his new policy comes amidst rumors from the Manhattan district attorney’s office of an imminent indictment against him for an alleged hush money payment made during the 2016 election cycle. The former President has pledged to deploy power very aggressively to execute his plan effectively.

Trump will hold a campaign rally in Waco, Texas, next weekend.
