Trump to attend dignified transfer of service members killed in Iran
President Donald Trump plans to attend the dignified transfer of U.S. service members who were killed during Iranian strikes,as announced by the White House. The ceremony will take place at Dover Air Force Base, and the President, along with the White House, is praying for the fallen heroes’ families. Two service members were killed at Muwaffaq Salti Air base in Jordan, identified as 1st Lt. Tyler James Feehan and Pvt. Isabella Gonzales, and a third died in Iraq. trump has previously threatened Iran with retaliation for American casualties, especially after the breakdown of a memorandum of understanding. Since the conflict with iran began on February 28, at least 17 U.S. service members have died.

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt, newly back from maternity leave, wrote on X that Trump “will attend the dignified transfer of our fallen heroes tomorrow evening at Dover Air Force Base.”

Two U.S. service members were killed in an Iranian attack at Muwaffaq Salti Air Base, a U.S. military base in Jordan, and a third service member was killed in Iraq.
The U.S. military shared the identities of the two service members killed at Muwaffaq Salti Air Base on July 17 as 1st Lt. Tyler James Feehan, 25, of Ewa Beach, Hawaii, and Pvt. Isabella Gonzales, 19, of Carrollton, Texas.

Earlier on Monday, Trump threatened to retaliate against Iran over American fatalities during the war after the memorandum of understanding between the two nations fell apart.
“Every time Iran kills an American Soldier they will pay for that killing many times over!” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “This directive has been passed on to Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Daniel Caine, and every Leader in the Military.”
In March, Trump attended the dignified transfer of six U.S. service members who died after a KC-135 refueling aircraft crashed in Iraq, as they were supporting the U.S. war against Tehran.
At least 17 U.S. service members have died since the war against Tehran began on Feb. 28.
