Trump tirades foreshadow trouble for his campaign as he returns to old habits

As Donald Trump faces a looming criminal indictment in New York, the former president has returned to old habits of firing off social media tirades with provocative language to rouse his base — an old strategy that may pose struggles for his new campaign team as they attempt to paint him as a serious candidate in 2024.

Over the past week, Trump has published a number of social media posts criticizing Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg in relation to an alleged indictment of the former senator in connection with an unnamed hush-money way that surfaced during his first national campaign in 2016. Trump criticized the district attorney for being a” degenerate psychopath” and warned that his arrest would ultimately result in” destruction and death.”

TRUMP SAYS Stop COULD RESULT IN” DEATH AND DESTRUCTION” AND SLAMS” PSYCHOPATH” TO ALVIN BRAGG.

What kind of woman would accuse someone else, in this case a former US president who received more votes than any other president in history and was by far the front-runner? When it is known by all that NO Crime has been committed and that possible death and destruction in such a misleading cost may be catastrophic for our Country, why would the Republican Party nominate someone with that crime? On Friday, Trump published a Truth Social article.

Many Democratic lawmakers criticized Trump for making those remarks, and many of them claimed that Trump encouraged his followers to storm the Capitol on January 6, 2021, by using matching language.

” It’s hazardous. House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries declared that if he keeps it up,” he’s going to have another killed.” The effects of the previous president’s provocation have already been observed. He is primarily to blame for the harsh uprising that occurred on January 6, but it is obvious that he hasn’t learned his lesson.

Trump’s most on outbursts on social media are suggestive of his tried-and-true strategies of mobilizing his supporters online by portraying himself as an observer in politics who is the target of attacks meant to damage his reputation. It does, however, come at a time when Trump’s fresh campaign team wants to approach the situation with more restraint, establishing Trump as an honorable candidate who can garner support from the entire GOP.

Ken Spain, a former assistant to George W. Bush’s national campaign in 2004, told Axios that the Trump campaign team is aware that his election needs to be more than just an awareness of his problems. Trump did remain Trump, despite their best efforts to create a framework around him.

The Manhattan grand jury was dismissed earlier this month without holding a ballot on whether to indict Trump, delaying the decision until further notice. This is in response to Trump’s most recent incidents. After Trump posted over the weekend that he anticipated being arrested on Tuesday and urged his supporters to protest and” take our nation back ,” the case had gained more attention throughout the week.

It would be the first time a former president has been charged in U.S. background if charges were brought against him. Trump has insisted, however, that even if he is detained and imprisoned, his political system will go on.

Although the specific cost Trump does eyes are still unknown, reports of a potential prosecution surfaced earlier this month after his former lawyer, Michael Cohen, testified before the Manhattan grand judge.

After admitting to paying two wives, including Stormy Daniels, who accused Trump of having sex with her, to keep quiet, Cohen was found guilty in 2018. Cohen paid Daniels$ 30,000 as part of the plan, and was thereafter paid back by the Trump Organization.

Later, Manhattan prosecutors launched an inquiry into the possibility that Trump fabricated business records in order to claim the insurance as a genuine expense. In New York, this type of offense is a criminal, but if Bragg’s work asserts that the fraud was meant to cover up another crime, it could be elevated to the rank of felony.
