Trump signs pardons for six people ‘persecuted’ by Biden administration

President Donald Trump announced that he has pardoned six individuals whom he claims were “persecuted by the Biden Administration.” He expressed pride in signing these pardons, suggesting that the targeted individuals were imprisoned over minor issues like “fixing their car.” Trump characterized the situation as part of a broader theme of “Weaponization and Stupidity” during Joe Biden’s presidency. Although the identities of the pardoned individuals were not disclosed, reports indicated that high-profile figures such as Sean “Diddy” Combs, who is serving a 50-month sentance for prostitution-related charges, were considered for clemency. The White House has yet to comment on the pardons, and the story is ongoing with updates expected.

President Donald Trump pardoned six people whom he says were “persecuted by the Biden Administration,” he announced on Friday afternoon.

“It is my Great Honor to have just signed Pardons for six people who were persecuted by the Biden Administration, and were in, or being sent to, prison, for ‘fixing their car.’ While I know this sounds ridiculous, it is nevertheless a fact, and part of the Weaponization and Stupidity that our Country had to endure during four long years of Sleepy Joe Biden,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

Trump’s announcement did not detail who the six pardoned individuals were, but the announcement came after reports from outlets like CBS News that he was considering granting clemency to several high-profile people, including Sean “Diddy” Combs. Combs is currently serving a 50-month prison sentence for prostitution-related charges in FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey.

The Washington Examiner has reached out to the White House for comment.
