Trump says ‘many’ Iran military leaders killed in ‘massive’ strike
President Donald Trump said on Saturday that multiple Iranian military leaders have been killed in a “massive” strike on Tehran.
“Many of Iran’s Military Leaders, who have led them poorly and unwisely, are terminated, along with much else, with this massive strike in Tehran!” he posted on Truth Social, along with footage of the attack.
The clip, taken at night, shows numerous explosions in the distance. No targets or buildings are visible, and Trump did not provide any other details. U.S. Central Command, which is running the U.S. military operation against Iran, has also not publicly commented on the strike.
The apparent U.S. attack on the regime comes hours after Trump sent Tehran a 48-hour reminder to either strike a peace deal or reopen the Strait of Hormuz, or “all Hell will reign down.”
Such an escalation from the U.S. would include strikes on Iranian power plants, Trump has previously warned.
