Trump says alliance with DeSantis ‘very unlikely’: Report

Former President Donald Trump said an alliance with likely primary challenger Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) is “very unlikely.”

Trump claimed he had never thought of DeSantis as a likely running mate for the 2024 and and credits himself with putting him on the political map.

Trump told Newsmaxon on Friday,” No, I don’t think that would be a very doubtful empire.”

There are many wonderful men in the Republican Party. I’ve always given it much thought, but, you know, occasionally some men bring it up. But that’s about it, Trump said.

DeSantis has already ruled out the possibility of running alongside Trump. He referred to himself as an” professional man.”

Trump once more claimed funds for DeSantis’ achievements. He cited his accomplishments in defeating Andrew Gillum, a former Democrat governor of Tallahassee.

Trump said,” I appointed him.” ” He was doing very poorly in the elections. He had left politicians. DeSantis won election in November by almost 20 percentage things despite Trump’s assistance in getting elected in 2018.

Trump again asserted that even if DeSantis decided to run, his alleged election log while in the House of Representatives would prevent him from winning the national election. For instance, in 2013, DeSantis decided to increase pension stage to 70.

DeSantis has never made a formal announcement about his command for the White House, but it is anticipated that he will do so in the summer.
