Former President Donald Trump Hires New Attorney Ahead of Arraignment in Georgia
Former President Donald Trump has made a change to his legal team as he prepares for his arraignment in Georgia on Thursday. Trump is facing multiple charges related to his challenge of the Georgia results in the 2020 presidential election. Fulton County prosecutors have accused Trump and 18 others of participating in a post-election conspiracy. The former president is set to be arraigned on these charges later this week.
According to CNN, Atlanta attorney Steven Sadow will now represent Trump, replacing Drew Findling, who had been handling the pre-trial phase of the case. Sadow, who describes himself as a “special counsel for white collar and high-profile defense,” is considered one of the top criminal defense attorneys in Georgia.

CNN quoted an unnamed ”Trump source” who referred to Sadow as the “best criminal defense attorney in Georgia.”
Attorney Jennifer Little will continue to be part of Trump’s legal team.
“I have been retained to represent President Trump in the Fulton County, Georgia case. The president should never have been indicted. He is innocent of all the charges brought against him,” Sadow stated.
“We look forward to the case being dismissed or, if necessary, an unbiased, open-minded jury finding the president not guilty. Prosecutions intended to advance or serve the ambitions and careers of political opponents of the president have no place in our justice system,” he added.
In the past, Sadow has criticized the use of the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act in prosecutions, which is the basis for the conspiracy allegations made by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis.
According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, attorney Scott Grubman, representing co-defendant Kenneth Chesebro, praised Sadow’s skills and track record of acquittals in high-profile cases.

On the eve of his surrender, Trump took to Truth Social to proclaim his commitment to fighting for election integrity. He stated, “NOBODY HAS EVER FOUGHT FOR ELECTION INTEGRITY LIKE PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP. FOR DOING SO, I WILL PROUDLY BE ARRESTED TOMORROW AFTERNOON IN GEORGIA. GOD BLESS THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!!!”
In another post, Trump hinted at what can be expected during his trial, emphasizing the alleged rigging and theft of the 2020 presidential election. He expressed his determination to uncover the truth and prevent such fraud from happening again.
