Trump “honored” to have fired former Attorney General Bill Barr

Former President Donald Trump has expressed his satisfaction at having fired former Attorney General Bill Barr, following Barr’s appearance on Fox News to discuss the release of special counsel John Durham’s final report on the FBI’s handling of the investigation into Trump’s alleged links to Russia.

Barr won’t support Trump in 2024

Barr’s interview drew a scathing response from Trump, who accused him of cowardice and gloated over the fact that he fired him. Barr closed out his appearance by reiterating that he will not support Trump as the Republican nominee for president in 2024 and that he doesn’t have what it takes to bring victories to the party.

Trump criticizes Barr’s inaction

Trump took to Truth Social to criticize Barr’s inaction during his tenure as Attorney General, particularly with regards to the Durham Report and the alleged voter fraud during the 2020 Presidential Election. Trump wrote, “An honor to have fired him!”

Barr praises Trump’s policy record

Despite their differences, Barr did offer some praise for Trump’s policy record, describing the FBI’s investigation as a great injustice.
