Though, he did not specify whether Russia formally consented to the ceasefire, which was meant to protect Ukraine’s energy infrastructure from strikes. Additionally, Trump shared this assertion through a Truth Social post, emphasizing the alleged mutual agreement and cautioning against breaking the deal.

In one of his Truth Social posts on Sunday, Trump said both warring nations agreed to the deal and warned them against breaking it. However, Russia did not agree to the ceasefire that protects Ukraine’s energy facilities from strikes.
