Trump Fires at Jan 6 Committee Back
Previous President Donald Trump published a letter Fri ripping the home Select Committee on Jan. 6 for failing woefully to investigate what he considers simple questions encircling the riot.
The committee released a subpoena for testimony from Trump at its business meeting Thurs.
The letter, thursday dated, opened with Trump’s unproven promises that the 2020 election has been “stolen” before straight addressing the Jan. 6 committee and questioning its objective.
At no stage in his memo do Trump clarify if he’d end up being honoring the subpoena or ignoring it.

“The Unselect Committee has willfully ignored the truth that days before January 6, 2021, I authorized and recommended a large number of troops to be deployed to make sure that there was peace, safety, and protection at the Capitol and throughout Washington, D.C. january 6th because I understood on, predicated on instinct and what I was hearing simply, that the crowd arriving at pay attention to my speech, and different others, will be a very huge one, larger than anyone thought possible far,” Trump wrote.
Trump’s arguments contrary to the continued initiatives of the Jan. 6 committee hit similar factors as wider criticism contrary to the investigation by conservative groupings.
