Trump urges auto industry workers to vote for him to stop electric vehicle ‘craze’.

Former President Donald Trump Urges Auto Industry⁣ Workers to Vote‍ for Him

Former President Donald Trump has made a passionate plea to⁣ auto industry workers, urging them ⁣to ⁢support him in the upcoming presidential election. In a bold statement,⁤ he promises to put an end to ⁤what ⁢he calls⁤ the “madness” of electric vehicles.

This comes as the Biden administration has been actively⁤ promoting electric ⁤vehicles as a⁣ crucial solution to combat climate change. In April, they proposed strict auto emissions rules aimed at boosting the sales of electric vehicles. However, Trump ⁤warns that implementing ‌Biden’s⁤ “crazed concept” of ⁤”all Electric Cars”‍ would have⁣ a significant ⁤impact on the auto industry in the United States.

“There is already a giant ‌’E GLUT,’ they don’t go far or long, are very⁤ expensive, and the consumer must be given a CHOICE,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “Vote for TRUMP, and‌ I ⁤will stop this⁢ Madness, IMMEDIATELY!⁢ Mexico & Canada LOVE Biden’s idiotic policy. SAVE MICHIGAN and the other Auto ⁤States. SAVE THE AMERICAN‌ CONSUMER!!!”

Trump passionately ‍appeals to auto workers, urging them to vote for ⁤him ⁢and convince⁢ their⁢ leaders to endorse him. He believes⁣ that by ‍doing so,‍ jobs in the auto industry will be protected.

In response to the Biden⁢ administration’s push for electric vehicles, attorneys ⁣general from 25 states expressed their concerns in July. They argued ‌that the proposed vehicle emissions targets by the Environmental Protection Agency would⁢ harm the U.S. economy. They deemed the plan ⁤”unrealistic, unwise, and ‌unsustainable,” especially considering that electric vehicle sales currently ⁤only ⁣account for 8.4% of new vehicles sold in‌ the United States.

The Biden ⁣administration, on the⁤ other hand, ⁣defends ⁢the new ⁤proposed vehicle standards as a “historic” investment.‍ They claim that these standards‍ will significantly ‌reduce carbon emissions, improve air quality, and ‌lower costs for consumers.

Potential Strike Looms ⁤for Biden

Biden faces a potential strike from the⁢ United Auto Workers (UAW), which could impact the development of electric vehicle batteries for major American auto manufacturers such as Ford, General Motors, and Stellantis. UAW⁣ President Shawn Fain has called ‍on Biden and lawmakers in Washington D.C. to revise federal incentives in various spending legislation⁤ to ensure fair wages and safety standards at all auto factories.
