Trump confirms two more meetings with Xi this year
President donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping recently concluded Xi’s visit to the United States. Despite their farewell, the leaders have scheduled two further meetings before the year’s end. Trump announced on Truth Social that Xi and his wife Peng had left Washington, describing their meeting as one of friendship, strength, and success for both nations. He confirmed plans to meet in November in China and again in December at the G20 summit in Miami, expressing optimism about the accomplishments from these interactions.
President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping may have just said goodbye to one another after Xi’s state visit to the U.S., but the two superpower world leaders have already pledged to meet two more times before the end of the year.
“President Xi and Madam Peng have just left D.C., heading for China,” Trump wrote on Truth Social on Friday. “The meeting was one of Friendship, Strength, and Success, for both China and the U.S.A. We will be meeting again in November, in China, and then at the G20 in December, in Miami, Florida. Much has been, and will be, accomplished. I look forward to our next meeting!”
