Trump campaign says it will not be hiring far-right influencer Laura Loomer after confusion
Former President Donald Trump’s2024 presidential campaign said it would not be hiring Laura Loomer, a former congressional candidate and controversial influencer.
Trump instructed his aides to train Loomer, a vocal supporter of Trump since his 2016 campaign, according to two sources with knowledge of the situation on Friday. Backlash erupted in response to the announcement, including from ardent Trump ally Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene( R – GA ), who tweeted that Loomer was” mentally unstable and a documented liar.”
Greene vowed to approach Trump instantly. Trump’s cause announced later on Friday that it would not be hiring Loomer, whether it was as a result of his intervention or the wider backlash.
Loomer scolded the whistleblowers who informed the media of Trump’s plans’s to hire her but said she would not reveal the specifics of her private meetings with the president.
She stated,” The president knows I have always been a Trump supporter.” ” I’m dedicated’m to assisting him in winning reelection in 2024. He thinks highly of me. And it’s unfortunate’s that he is surrounded by individuals who, rather than remaining loyal to President Trump and upholding their confidentiality agreements, attack him in a publication that is known for attacking him.
Throughout the day, Loomer defended herself on Twitter, but she later gave the news a more subdued declaration in which she cited the Jewish and Christian holidays as an opportunity for harmony. She advised the internet to divert its interest.

Many conservative politicians, including Noor bin Laden, the daughter of Osama bin Loomer, took to Twitter to support Loormer. Just a conservative activist, Noor bin Laden.
Greene initially backed Loomer. The congresswoman even went so far as to applaud Loomer on winning the 2020 congressional primary and demand that Twitter restore his account, which had been suspended due to comments that were anti-Muslim. Greene referred to Loomer as her partner in her most recent post, which was published in February 2021.
Since then, there has been a disagreement between the two, which has split the MAGA exercise. Their relationship to far-right body Nick Fuentes, with whom Loomer is near, seems to be a part of the problem.

Loomer slandered the congresswoman on Telegram after Greene disavowed Fuentes in December, calling her a” fraud ,” an” adulterer ,”” phony Christian ,” and” hypocrite ,” as well as” out of her mind.”
Loomer has received criticism in the past for her anti-Muslim comments. She has referred to Islam as a” cancer” and identified herself as an” Islamophobe.” She asserted on Friday, meanwhile, that she is not anti-Muslim and just opposes” Sharia Law and jihadist penetration.”
