Trump Calls for End to Ukraine War: First Come the Tanks, Then Come the Nukes

Former President Donald Trump Following the announcement by President Joe Biden that the US would be sending Abrams tanks into the war-torn eastern European country, Donald Trump has called for the end of the conflict in Ukraine. 

“FIRST COME THE TANKS, THEN COME THE NUKES. Get this crazy war ended, NOW,” Trump posted to Truth Social. “So easy to do!”

Biden declared Wednesday that the US would send tanks to assist in fighting Russian aggression. This announcement was made shortly after Olag Scholz, a German councilor, announced that his country would send Leopard 2 tanks.

“Germany didn’t force me to change my mind,” Biden responded with a smile. “We wanted to make sure we are all together.”

“I’m announcing that the United States will be sending thirty-one Abrams tanks to Ukraine, the equivalent of one Ukrainian battalion,” Biden stated that the move was suggested by Lloyd Austin, his defense secretary. 

The US has so far offered Ukraine multiple emergency funding packages. One of the largest is worth $40 billion. The $3.75 billion was also sent to launch 2023. billions in heavy weaponry.
