‘Troubling’

Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.), who has demanded documentation to prove that the payment was a loan repayment, ⁣suggests that this direct payment may be the strongest ​evidence yet of President ⁣Biden’s involvement in his family’s business affairs.

“Even ‌if this was a personal loan repayment, it’s ‍still troubling that Joe Biden’s ability to be paid back by his brother depended on the success of his family’s shady financial dealings,” said Mr. Comer in a ⁣statement.

Lawyers for Americore health told a court ​in ‍July last year that the president’s brother,‌ James Biden, received $600,000 in‍ loans from the⁢ healthcare company “based upon representations that his last name, ‘Biden’, ‍could ‘open doors’ and that he could obtain​ a ⁤large investment from ‌the Middle East based on his political connections.”

On the‍ same date as the check to President Biden (March 1, 2018), Americore wired a $200,000 loan to James and Sara Biden’s personal bank account.

A copy ‌of the check ​was obtained as part of the House Oversight Committee’s ongoing investigation into‍ the president and his family’s ‍business affairs.

The committee has previously released over 20 examples of evidence linking the president to his⁤ son Hunter Biden’s business dealings, with the check being the latest piece‍ of evidence in the Republican probe.

White ⁣House spokesperson Ian Sams has dismissed the check as a “new distraction” and another one of the “silly ​political stunts” by Republicans⁣ aimed ‌at damaging ⁤President Biden politically.

“The ⁢coincidences just keep ⁣piling up,” the fundraising email ‌concluded.⁤ “Anyone with even ⁣a drop of common sense will tell you that​ Joe Biden is a CROOK.”
