Former President Donald Trump traveled to New York on Monday to face charges of falsification of business records, becoming the first former president to face criminal charges. He was indicted as part of Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg‘s investigation into the payment of hush money to adult film actress Stormy Daniels during the 2016 election cycle.
He departed from Palm Beach, Florida, where he resides now, and reached New York’s LaGuardia airport in Queens. After landing and traveling to Trump Tower in Manhattan, he waved to supporters before entering the building, where he is expected to spend the night.
