Top Director for Soros’ “Open Society Foundations” Makes Frequent Biden White House Visits

A high-level director at George SorosRecords show that the Open Society Foundations, (OSF), is close to President Biden’s policy team and has been quietly funded by him.

Open Society-U.S. executive director Tom Perriello is part of Soros’ leadership team. He sits on the board for Governing For Impact, an outside Soros-funded organization that works behind the scenes to create and implement policy. He has visited the White House numerous times for meetings and other events.

Perriello’s name is found in White House visitor logs thirteen times between May 2021 – September 2022. This was the last public month for records. A Fox News Digital review revealed that Perriello’s name appeared on the forms eight times. Multiple appointments are listed on three days Perriello visited.

“Open Society is dedicated to advancing inclusive democracy and prosperity, and human rights, in the United States and around the world,” Fox News Digital was told by an OSF spokesperson. “Our leadership, like our grantees, actively advocate with policymakers to advance these goals, and that includes engaging with policymakers from both parties. Tom also has taken meetings on behalf of Open Society and in his personal capacity as a former Member of Congress.”

The OSF refused to answer questions about the nature of the meetings and the White House also did not respond. Perriello is not certain who he met for the sessions. Visitors logs often contain White House staff that book appointments, meet guests, and then take them to another personnel.

Records show that Jordan Finkelstein (the chief of staff for Anita Dunn Biden’s senior adviser) was the one to greet Perriello. The logs include Richard Figueroa as a race-ethnicity policy adviser, Rachel Chiu as chief of staff at the office of strategic and outreach, and Yohannes Ibrahim, who was previously the deputy assistant of the president, chief and executive secretary of National Security Council.

Perriello’s location near the Biden administration is a further indication of Soros’ close access to those running the country. Alex Soros’ son, who serves as the OSF’s chairperson, has been a big winner. Many meetings at White HouseBiden’s chief of staff, Ron Klain twice. Alex also posted photos of himself and his father, as well as Democratic lawmakers including Senator Chuck Schumer from New York and Rep. Nancy Pelosi, of California, at what appears to be private, intimate gatherings.

Perriello is involved in a left-wing group that works to change policy behind closed doors. He is a board member of Governing for Impact (GFI), a secretive group that has quietly worked alongside the Biden administration on policy items. Fox News Digital reported previously

GFI was founded with the vision of preparing for the future. Biden administration You can find out more about a “transformative governance” And produced “more than 60 in-depth, shovel-ready regulatory recommendations” There are many federal agencies that offer this service.” a now-deleted job advertisement on Harvard Law School’s website read.

The group has boasted in internal memos of implementing more than 20 of its regulatory agenda items as they work with the administration to reverse Trump-era deregulations by focusing on education, health care, housing, labor and environmental issues. GFI has also prepared legal policy memos for at least ten federal departments and agencies and ten administrative law primers as of 2021, according to an internal slideshow from the group.

Soros’ cash has propelled GFI and its related action fund from the outset. The Foundation to Promote Open Society, a nonprofit in Soros’ network, has funneled nearly $10 million to GFI since 2019, records show. Additionally, the Open Society Policy Center, Soros’ advocacy nonprofit, sent $7.45 million to GFI’s action fund during that time. Open Society-U.S., which Perriello leads, was the referring program for the grants.

GFI’s total contributions are unknown, but Soros’ cash likely puts him among its top donors. The groups are not required to file tax forms to the Internal Revenue Service because they are fiscally sponsored projects of the New Venture Fund and Sixteen Thirty Fund, not standalone organizations.

“Perriello’s regular lunch meetings at White House are yet another proof that Governing For Impact and, by extension, George Soros is secretly making decisions on regulations that will impact the daily lives and livelihoods of millions,” stated Parker Thayer from Capital Research Center. Thayer was the first to discover the group and alerted Fox News Digital.
