Tom Brady Talks His Future: “If I Knew What I Was Gonna F***Ing Do, I’d Have Already F***Ing Done It”

Last weekend, Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers lost to the Dallas Cowboys in the playoffs.

That officially launched the Tom Brady Organization offseason clock. Brady announced his retirement last summer, but he reversed his decision and returned to the job.

Already, people want to know what he’s going to do this offseason. Brady is sick of being asked.

Brady was a guest on his podcast. “Let’s Go! with Tom Brady, Larry Fitzgerald and Jim Gray” On
SiriusXM.

Jim Gray, Brady’s co-host, naturally asked him about his future plans.

“Tom, you’re leaving everybody guessing,” Gray. “You’ve said you’ll take your time. Do you have any type of a timetable as to what you might want to do regarding your football career?”

“Jim,” Brady started just before unleashing the hell. “If I knew I was gonna f*cking do, I’d have already f*cking done it. OK? I’m taking it a day at a time.”

“I sense you’re antagonized by the question,” Gray responded. “It’s only the question that everybody wants to hear.”

“I appreciate you asking,” Brady laughed and said, “thank you.”

Tom Brady clearly had this response in mind

While the quote looks quite shocking on paper, it’s clear Brady and Gray were having some fun. They laughed together and, of course, Brady knew that this would appear ON HIS OWN PODCAST.

Also, he actually didn’t answer the question. Gray was simply asking about a timeline. That didn’t require Brady to announce future plans. He could just have said it. “Yeah, I need at least a month to process, then we’ll re-visit.”

But see, Brady doesn’t want to do that. He wants everyone to continue hanging on. To see if TODAY truly is the day, we must wait every day.

He loves the fact that the media asks the questions even though he pretends otherwise.

I’m going to play your games, Tom Brady. I don’t care what you do.

Play, don’t play, I’m done.

I will wait until you make your next statement regarding your future. My editor has told me to write about it.

You can bet I will. Because I’m a great employee. (Editor’s note: debatable.)
