‘Today’ Show Host Al Roker Rushed Back To Hospital After Being Released In Time For Thanksgiving

Longtime “Today” show host Al Roker was rushed back to the hospital via ambulance just a day after being released.

A source shared that the 68-year-old popular weather personality fell ill a day after he posted photos on Instagram celebrating that he was finally out of the hospital after being treated for a series of blood clots that started in his legs and moved to his lungs, Page Six reported.

One witness told the outlet that Roker was “taken from his home in a stretcher back to the hospital on Friday, the day after Thanksgiving. His condition was worrying, but once back in the hospital he improved.”

“His wife, Deborah, was understandably very upset,” the person added. “She had left her phone and other possessions inside their Tesla, which had malfunctioned and wouldn’t unlock, so she was trying to smash in a window.”

“Deborah then went to the hospital by taxi with her daughter, where Al has since been surrounded by his family,” the witness continued.

Roker wrote in a series of Instagram posts that he was “so very thankful” to have made it out of the hospital to be home with his family for Thanksgiving, as The Daily Wire previously reported.

“So much to be #thankful for on the [Thanksgiving Day],” the TV personality captioned his post. “Leaving the hospital and home for [Thanksgiving Dinner].”

“Alright, this is my version of the Thanksgiving Day Parade. Getting ready to leave the hospital. Time to blow this taco stand. Woohoo!” the host said in the clip as he walked out of the hospital.

“Back home in time to catch a little bit of the [Macys Thanksgiving Day Parade] Missing being next to [Savannah Guthrie] and [Hoda Kotb],” he wrote in a second post.
