Today News Africa Reporter Tells Jean-Pierre She’s Not a Great Fit for Her Job

Today News Africa’s Simon Ateba interviewed Press Secretary at the White House press briefing on Tuesday. Karine Jean-Pierre Over her inability answer questions from him and others. President Biden‘s classified document debacle.

Ateba suggested Jean-Pierre was not fit for her job. 

“Karine,” Ateba is Cameroon’s native. “Since you don’t have any answer on the classified documents, you don’t seem a good fit for this job.”

“We do not seem to have any answer from you,” Jean-Pierre continued to ignore his pleas, and he moved on to the next reporter.

Although Ateba’s frustration was felt by many, only one reporter was brave enough tell her.

“I’d just like to re-up the request from colleagues in this room for someone to answer these questions from the podium,” He said that Jean-Pierre had repeatedly redirected any discussion about the classified documents to White House Counsel.

Jean-Pierre did not provide much information to reporters since the news broke about Biden having classified documents at multiple locations, including his Delaware home. Instead, he asked them to direct their questions towards other departments.

Information has been slowly leaking out. The latest revelations suggest that the Biden White House conspired with the Department of Justice, in an effort to keep the scandal secret.

The Washington Post It was reported that the Biden administration “was hoping for a speedy inquiry that would find no intentional mishandling of the documents, planning to disclose the matter only after Justice issued its all-clear.”

Jean-Pierre and Ateba have been involved in this briefing room before. The journalist from Cameroon has repeatedly asked her about hot-button subjects and refused to let her ignore him.

Tucker Carlson interviewed Ateba in December. He said that it was a “nightmare” Jean-Pierre was accused of discriminating against him, as well as other African reporters, for his coverage of the Biden administration.

“I’m an immigrant, and I ask tough questions,” Ateba suggested possible reasons Jean-Pierre ignored him.
