A new trailer for Netflix’s docuseries “Harry & Meghan” has some fans anxious to see the final three episodes, especially after a lackluster reception for the first three.
Many viewers were underwhelmed by the first half of the limited series, saying it didn’t provide any new information about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle that fans didn’t already know. Royal followers expected the series to be more critical of the royal family, especially after their explosive tell-all interview with Oprah in 2021.
The trailer for the second half has those followers excited to see what’s next.
Meghan: “I wasn’t being thrown to the wolves, I was being FED to the wolves.”
Harry: “They were happy to lie to protect my brother. They were never willing to tell the truth to protect us”

“Our security was being pulled. Everyone in the world knew where we were,” Meghan is heard saying in the clip.
Prince Harry says, “We are on the freedom flight,” as footage plays of what looks like the couple boarding a flight for the United States.
The Duke of Sussex also mentions “institutional gaslighting” just before a clip of Meghan saying, “I wasn’t being thrown to the wolves, I was being fed to the wolves.”
“They were happy to lie to protect my brother. They were never willing to tell the truth to protect us,” Harry says of his older brother, Prince William, who is currently first in line for the British throne.
The trailer also includes clips of media coverage and personal footage of the Sussex family enjoying themselves, including footage of the couple playing outside and walking through a corn maze with their children.
Though most fans weren’t shocked or impressed by “Harry & Meghan,” one clip making the rounds has many royal followers furious for what they say is a blatant lack of respect from the Duchess of Sussex. In it, Meghan demonstrates how she curtsied for the queen when they first met, but her overall demeanor is seen as mocking and disrespectful to the late Queen Elizabeth.
“The ultimate betrayal,” Tory MP Mark Jenkinson shared on Twitter. “And [Prince Harry] just sits and watches.”
Things have been strained between Harry and his family since he stepped down as a senior royal and moved to America with Meghan. He spoke about his feelings at length during the Oprah interview.
“That feeling of being trapped within the family, there was no option to leave,” Prince Harry told Oprah in 2021. “Eventually when I made that decision for my family, I was still told, ‘You can’t do this.’ And it’s like, ‘Well, how bad does it have to get until I am allowed to do this?’ [Markle] was going to end her life. It shouldn’t have to get to that.”
“It’s incredibly triggering to potentially lose another woman in my life. Like the list is growing, and it all comes back to the same people, the same business model — the same industry,” he continued, referring to Princess Diana’s death. Harry again compared Meghan to his late mother in the Netflix docuseries.
