‘They Are Under Attack’: Trans Movement’s Growing Aggression Finds Cover Under Claims Of ‘Genocide’

Transgender activists are using violent and aggressive imagery to defend their beliefs against what they perceive as an existential threat.

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre recently said “Our hearts go out to the trans community, as they are under attack right now,” after a 28-year-old who identified as transgender shot and killed six people at a Christian school in Nashville, Tennessee.

Some in the LGBT community claim that people who identify as transgender are under attack in American society, with some even describing the current climate as “genocidal.”

This belief has fueled increasingly aggressive rhetoric and behavior in the transgender movement, exemplified in protests, propaganda, and even the embrace of firearms.

The “Trans Day of Vengeance”

In Washington, D.C., the Trans Radical Activist Network (TRAN) planned to host a “Trans Day of Vengeance.” The protest, planned long before the tragedy at the Christian school, was to be a demonstration to “stop trans genocide,” as a poster for the event described it. The event was canceled a day before it was set to take place due to “a credible threat to life and safety.”

Online markets have also seen an increase in threatening LGBT merchandise and propaganda with designs that incorporate knives, firearms, or other weapons alongside messages associated with defending transgender ideology.

Rise in Gun Clubs for LGBT Community

Gun clubs for the LGBT community, such as Rainbow Reload in New Hampshire, have seen an increase in participation in recent years. Some participants claim they need to learn how to handle a gun for self-defense, citing an uptick in hate crimes and the perception that society is targeting them. Others claim it’s a matter of whether or not certain people should get to live and be their genuine selves.
