‘The View’ Host Acknowledges Evidence of Biden’s Alleged Wrongdoings
During Wednesday’s episode of “The View,” co-host Sunny Hostin made a surprising admission. Despite the White House and media’s talking points, she acknowledged that there was evidence suggesting President Joe Biden and his family had engaged in selling influence over the years.
Hostin and her co-hosts discussed the impending impeachment inquiry into President Biden, particularly focusing on his time as vice president. She conceded that he may have either assisted or allowed his son, Hunter Biden, to leverage their family name.

“I understand there’s real concern there but what is upsetting to me is that…[the] Republican Party is trivializing what impeachment is.” pic.twitter.com/gil6v1Sefv— Nicholas Fondacaro (@NickFondacaro) September 13, 2023
Co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin expressed her belief that there had been “impropriety” and “misrepresentations” from Biden and his surrogates regarding his actions during that time. However, she stopped short of supporting the Republicans’ plan to impeach.
“I have yet to see… something that’s evidence of a crime,” she continued, emphasizing that the bar for impeachment should be set at “high crimes and misdemeanors.”
“People are going to be shocked, I completely agree with that,” Hostin replied. “I think that there has been some — shocking, right? I think that there has been some impropriety. I think that there are instances where Hunter Biden, in an attempt to show access to the vice presidency, the vice president’s office, made phone calls to ‘Daddy’.”
“I think we have the situation with [Hunter Biden’s] work in Ukraine, we have the situation with his work in China, there’s no way that political influence wasn’t a part of that,” Hostin said.
“I don’t like nepotism across the board,” she continued, redirecting the criticisms towards former President Donald Trump.
“I understand there’s real concern there but what is upsetting to me is that… [the] Republican Party is trivializing what impeachment is,” Hostin complained, arguing that Biden was likely to be impeached for actions that did not reach the level of “high crimes.” She insisted that the accusations against Trump regarding the Ukraine phone call were far worse.
