Banks, brandishing a pistol tucked into his waistband, threatened the woman and her children.
“When you hear the shots tonight, you’ll know what’s up,” he reportedly said, according to Chief of Investigations Alan Parker of Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.
With her children in tow, the mother fled into the Popeyes and called the police.

An officer ordered Banks to show his hands, but he grudgingly complied before running off.
During the chase, the officer reportedly saw Banks pull the pistol from his waistband.
The officer ordered him to drop the gun before firing multiple shots at him.

An 18 year old is not a “creep”, he is a teen texting with a 13 year old teen woman! If you could be called a man, then I post pubescent 13-year-old can be called a woman. And except for the past 60, maybe 80 years that would be considered normal since the beginning of time. I realistically was most likely initiated by the young woman herself being in heat and learning to control her passions that her mother has failed to instruct her. So everybody blames the teen boy. So wrong. She needs to be arrested and receive the full weight of the lie in her conviction.
There is nothing better than an honest, or ethical, constitutionally bound police officer. Nothing. If you are instructed to do something by one of these awesome protectors of the public, and you decide to not comply, then getting shot should be expected. Sorry. it’s a rough world, and getting rougher. And guess what? This is not your world.
Of course, dishonest, unethical, non-constitutionally bound police officers throw a wrinkle in this, and that is certainly worthy of discussion. But body cams and the ability of law enforcement to track just about all of us backwards in time has made it much more difficult for these types of police officers to exist. Nowadays, it is very difficult for law enforcement to place a person in a location that they were not in. The odds of a person being falsely accused has dropped dramatically from 50 years ago. Back then, cops would simply testify and convictions would be handed out. This simply didn’t work because all good lawyers know one thing – a dishonest, unethical, non-constitutionally bound police officer would rather lie than kiss his mother.
The mother of the daughter, on the other hand, should be arrested for child endangerment. That she would take her children when confronting the guy was not only idiotic, but very dangerous for her children. She should have called the police in advance and had them present behind the scenes during the confrontation. That she didn’t notify the police in advance is interesting, as I’m sure most of you reading this would have opted to go that route. I suspect, without any proof whatsoever, that the lady was looking for a payout from the suspect in return for her not going to the police. That’s really the only scenario where excluding the police during the encounter makes sense. The more I consider this whole event, I’m thinking, again, without any proof, that this mother is much more of a scumbag than the horny 18-year-old is.
