The Sex-Ed Industrial Complex Revolves Around Planned Parenthood And Is Fueled By Your Tax Dollars

Over the past 50 year, schools have played an important role in sexeducation. Schools today promote transgender children, kinky sexuality, and coming out to be gay. But this isn’t a problem just in leftist enclaves — schools in red states are promoting the same propaganda as schools in blue states. This is happening in even conservative jurisdictions.

Planned Parenthood as shown in our new Report The Claremont Institute coordinates and controls the policymaking process in order to achieve its goal of sexual revolution. It is active in Congress seeking riders and finding to make abstinence-only sexual education funding more difficult. It has led the effort to favor programs that reduce the risk of sexual assault, rather than avoiding it.

This is the result of concerted action at all levels of government. It’s led by an iron triangle consisting of legislative allies, activist pressure groups and administrative activists. Planned parenthood is training children to be sexual perversity and degeneracy leaders in a new sexually liberated America.

Planned Parenthood is not only a major force behind the sexual revolution in America’s schools, but it also shows how Big Government supports and funds leftist political activities. The left depends on funneling national tax dollars toward its favored causes — and conservatives have all but abandoned the field to such efforts.

At least four funding streams have been established by Congress for sex education. Both the Teen Pregnancy Prevention Program (TPP), and the Personal Responsibility Education Programs (PREP) are competitive grant programs that were left over from Obama’s era. Two Sexual Risk Avoidance Education (SRAE) programs, passed in the Trump administration, were originally designed to emphasize abstinence-only-until-marriage education. Between 2020 and 2023, these four programs were funded by Health and Human Services through 243 grants.

Planned Parenthood, its affiliates, dominate the grant process. Based on our analysis of award winners, almost $167 million (or 80 percent) of HHS sex educational funding went to grantees that partnered with Planned Parenthood. Planned Parenthood-endorsed curricula made up 79 percent. Planned Parenthood, its affiliates won 86 per cent of TPP funding, 90 per cent of PREP funds, about three quarters of SRAE funds, and a whopping 91 percent of PREP funds.

Planned Parenthood’s primary work is in priming and managing the grantmaking process within an administrative state. First, Planned Parenthood, its affiliates, developed National Sexuality Education Standards. Then, together with the CDC they created the Health Education Curriculum Analysis Tool. The NSES/HECAT are the leading edge of the sexual revolution.

In 2020, the second edition of NSES requires that kindergarteners learn gender identity and third graders learn puberty blockers. NSES also requires teaching about abstinence — but it is the new abstinence, which allows for vaginal sex in the backseat of the car so long as one uses a condom. Nearly half of America’s school districts follow Planned Parenthood sex education standards.
