The Pentagon Just Dislikes Being Asked Why It Has Failed An Assessment Five Years In A Row

When you ask the Pentagon about possible fraud, their primary response is to insult your intelligence because they are unable to explain why it has failed an inspection five times in a column or what happened to the billions of dollars that belong to U.S. citizens. Sometimes the well-liked communist Jon Stewart got that treatment because he broached the subject too much during an interview with the second-in-command of the Department of Defense.

Stewart reportedly had a conversation with Deputy Defense Secretary Kathleen Hicks about C-SPAN. Hicks denied that the Pentagon’s’s failure to maintain its books was a sign of fraud or carelessness when Stewart brought up the issue during that discussion.

The DoD’s’s inability to pass an assessment or its failure to do so does not imply waste, fraud, or discrimination. During the back and forth, Hicks said in a rather contemptuous voice,” That is completely unfounded, just it.”

What then is it provocative of? Stewart retorted.

She retorted defiantly,” It’s’s suggestive that we can’t- we have an accurate inventory of what we’ve’ve got where.” ” We can’t do that because waste, fraud, and abuse have occurred ,” is not the same as saying” that.”

A keen observer would naturally wonder how she can claim with such certainty that” waste, fraud, and victimization” have not taken place when the Pentagon, by their own admission, lacks trustworthy information on the subject. Stewart, however, wasn’t done and provided a fair response.

So, that’s’s waste in my world, he said.

Hicks inquired,” How is that loss?” but didn’t understand.

The previous Comedy Central network said,” If I give you a billion dollars and you can’t tell me what happened to it, that to me is useless.” That implies that you are not accountable. What am I supposed to think, though, if you can’t tell me where it went? And when there has been reporting, I’m’m not saying that this is your fault or that you are to blame for it.
