‘That’s Not True’: Biden Denies Family Received Money From Chinese Firm via Hunter Biden Associate

Friday’s claims by President Joe Biden that Hunter Biden’s son transferred $1 million to his family from a Chinese energy company to Hunter Biden were denied by Joe Biden.

Biden’s response came after the GOP-led House Oversight Committee released information from financial documents showing that Robinson “Rob” Walker completed the transaction.

Walker was also requested to testify before it.

NTD, a sister media of The Epoch Times, asked Biden a question about the South Lawn of The White House. The president then boarded Marine One to go to Wilmington, Delaware for the weekend.

“Any reaction to House GOP’s memo about your family’s dealings, sir?” Iris Tao, NTD White House correspondent asked.

“My family’s dealings?” Biden asked.

“Yes. Revealing that Hunter Biden’s business associate sent over $1 million to three of your family members. Any reaction to that report?” Tao asked.

“That’s not true,” Biden said.

House Oversight seeks testimony from key Biden partner

On Friday, Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) wrote to Walker asking him to appear for a transcribed interview before the panel and requesting confirmation by March 24.

According to Comer’s office, subpoenaed financial records reveal that from 2015 to 2017, Biden family members—Hunter Biden, James Biden, Hallie Biden, and an unknown ‘Biden’—and their companies collectively received over $1.3 million in payments from accounts related to Walker.

“Most of the payments to the Biden family came after Rob Walker received a $3 million wire from a Chinese energy company,” The office of Comer stated.

The House Oversight panel has just revealed that $3 million was wired by State Energy HK Limited to Walker’s Robinson Walker LLC, according to a recent revelation. From March 2017 to May 2017, payments were slowly sent to the Biden family accounts. These accounts included those belonging to Hunter, James and Hallie Biden.

“After the Robinson Walker, LLC account received $3 million from State Energy HK Limited, Biden family members and their companies began receiving incremental payments over a period of approximately three months,” A memo from the committee stated. “The recipients of the money included Hallie Biden, companies associated with Hunter Biden and James Biden.”

Unknown bank account with an unknown identity “Biden” According to the memo, payments totaling $70,000 were also made. It is not clear who managed that account.

Republicans claimed that the transfers were proof that a Chinese state energy company was connected to the Bidens, but their letters only indicated the fact that Walker’s account had been accessed and funds transferred to the Biden family accounts. This was March 2017. The money was not sourced from China.

A spokesperson for the White House criticized Comer’s findings and claimed that it was unnecessary to investigate Biden’s family. A spokesperson for the White House claimed that Hallie Bideen was being unfairly targeted in this case by Republicans. Hunter Biden’s lawyers spokesperson dismissed Comer’s claims to Fox News as a bogus conspiracy, but confirmed that payments were made for Hunter, his uncle, Hallie Biden.
