Texas Gov. Greg Abbott Goes Viral With Brutal Dallas Cowboys Playoffs Tweet
Texas Republican Governor Greg Abbott’s tweet about a brutal remark he made to the San Francisco 49ers in Sunday’s Dallas Cowboys playoff was viral.
Abbott, who is paralyzed to the waist and uses a wheelchair, took to Twitter After Cowboys kicker Brett Maher failed convert an extra point, it was stopped by Samson Ebukam (49ers defensive lineman). TMZ reported. San Francisco won the game and advanced to the NFC Championship.

“I swear, I can kick as good as the Dallas Cowboys kicker,” Abbott sent a tweet to more than 1 million of his followers.

And Abbott wasn’t the only person who criticized the Cowboys’ kicker. Many accounts posted memes and videos mocking Maher on social media.

Maher has had a difficult time in the playoffs this year, failing five more point attempts in the last two games, four against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and four on January 16.
He has the second-most failed extra point attempts in NFL playoffs history.
But, Cowboys kicker, Matt Jones, did nail two field goals on Sunday. He made a 25-yarder during the third quarter and a 42-yarder during the fourth. He has attempted 12 consecutive field goals.
According According to The Associated Press there was a short altercation prior to the game in which some 49ers players tried to interrupt Maher as he was warming up.
