‘Terrifying Implications’: Joe Rogan Blasts SF’s ‘Tremendously Insane Decision’ To Allow Robots To ‘Kill People’

Podcaster Joe Rogan slammed San Francisco’s “tremendously insane” decision to authorize robots to “kill people” and predicted the policy would have “terrifying implications.”

In a post on Instagram, the host of “The Joe Rogan Experience” blasted the local politicians who voted 8-3 to allow the city’s police department robots to use “a deadly force option when risk of loss of life to members of the public or officers is imminent and outweighs any other force option available to SFPD.”

“This is such a f***ing tremendously insane decision with terrifying implications,” Rogan posted. “The fact that ANYONE thinks it’s ok to vote for robots gunning people down is f***ing nuts, but that a majority is just bonkers.”

Rogan’s comment is a reference to the policy that SFPD spokesperson Robert Rueca said would authorize equipping robots with explosive charges to breach locations containing violent suspects or to incapacitate violent people “who pose a risk of loss of life to law enforcement.” He added that there are no plans to arm the city’s robots with guns.

Rogan’s post included a headline from Vice that read, “San Francisco Police Can Now Kill People With Robots: The rule proposal passed 8-3 and civil rights groups worry a rubicon has been crossed.”

“There could be an extraordinary circumstance where, in a virtually unimaginable emergency, they might want to deploy lethal force to render, in some horrific situation, somebody from being able to cause further harm,” Supervisor Aaron Peskin told colleagues about why the policy was needed, the San Francisco Chronicle reported.

The podcaster’s comments come after he torched woke culture when the initial reports came out that the city was considering the new policy, as The Daily Wire previously reported.

“What could go wrong using robots to kill people in a land where men can get pregnant and billions of dollars can be lost as amphetamine popping incels manage made up money,” Rogan captioned a November Instagram post. “WE’RE FIIIIINE.”
