Tennessee Gov Signs Bills Protecting Children From Sex-Change Procedures, Drag Shows
Tennessee Republican Governor Bill Lee Signed Thursday saw the passage of two pieces of legislation to protect children from sex exchange and sexually explicit dragshows.
The new law that prohibits sex-change treatments procedures is intended to stop girls from believing they are boys by banning procedures like mastectomies. It also makes it illegal to give children cross-sex hormones and puberty blockers. The bill Passed the Republican-controlled state House by a vote of 77-16.
