Teen known as ‘El Chapito’ arrested for murder of eight people at birthday party
A 14-year-old nicknamed “El Chapito” Authorities said that he was taken into custody following the murders of at most eight people at a birthday celebration.
According to police, the murders took place in Chimalhuacan, a Mexican suburb. The teenager arrived on a motorcycle to the party and started shooting.

A report claims that at least one other man was arrested with the teenager in connection with the killings.
While the identity of this alleged murderer is not known, it has been identified by his nickname. “Little Chapo,” Joaquin, a notorious drug lord, is the inspiration “El Chapo” Guzman.

Although the motive behind the murders of birthday guests has not been established, many suspect that they are drug-related.
Mexican cartels and gangs are notorious for killing drug opponents, people who owe money, kidnapping and contract murder.
