Ted Cruz Diagnoses D.C.’s Problems, But Can He Solve them?

Ted Cruz, who was originally elected to the Senate in 2012 on the Tea Party grassroots conservative movement wave, has had many supporters. He is a strong conservative voice who is willing to confront corruption and hypocrisy in Washington, D.C.

He was in many ways an outsider, populist before it was fashionable, and he held no elected offices prior his 2012 defeat. Cruz was unfortunately beaten by another candidate in 2016. Cruz was able to overcome Robert’s very well-funded campaign by remaining credible as a senator. “Beto” O’Rourke will win a second term as Senate President.

Although Cruz technically has the potential to run for the presidency again in 2024, Cruz seems content just commenting on how Democrats are ruining the country. While there is a place for such commentary, especially from someone who can see how the sausage is made, it’s difficult to summon the energy or enthusiasm to support reform when the person making a case for reform seems to be content to just appear on Fox News. podcastharangue incompetent bureaucrats during hearings of the Senate Judiciary Committee

Identifying the problem

This is Ted Cruz’s latest book.Justice Corrupted – How the Left Armed Our Legal SystemThe book “The Excessive and Overreaching U.S. Department of Justice, FBI and Recent Democratic Presidents” discusses these issues. Cruz does a great job explaining and explaining the corruption in federal law enforcement. He also shows his exceptional understanding of the recent scandals at these institutions. But, aside from identifying the problem and inducing understandable outrage, Cruz doesn’t go any further. His general argument is both satisfying and frustrating.

Cruz is eager to grab his readers’ attention from the beginning. He begins his argument by telling the shocking story of a transgender student assaulting a girl in a Virginia public high school. “It was every father’s nightmare. Your fourteen-year-old daughter, your little girl, being sexually assaulted at school. In the girl’s bathroom. By a boy wearing a skirt.”

Campus leaders and Loudoun County’s school board tried to cover up the crime and silence the father who spoke out. The National School Boards Association asked Attorney General Merrick Galrland and the Department of Justice if they would investigate and prosecute any other parents who protested school board decisions. Garland accepted, even though there was no basis for such an action.

Cruz cross-examined Garland to find out why he was going after his parents. He attacked Garland and accused him for partisanship as well as abuse of power. Like most conversations (Cruz mentions more than one), nothing happened afterwards.
